System is exactly singular

Hope this finds you well. I have a problem, I am running Multivariate Normality test in R and I get the following error

Error in solve.default(S, tol = tol) : **
** Lapack routine dgesv: system is exactly singular: U[42,42] = 0

I am doing SEM, with 8 latent variables, and 42 items.

Any help on how to slove this problem
