tolower function problem

Hello,

I have a problem with tolower function. it gave me the message: Error in tolower(CRC$doc_text) : invalid multibyte string 1. Does any one have an idea about this issue?

Possibly a Unicode character in a session without UTF-8 encoding. Can't say more without knowing the content of CRC$doc_text. See the FAQ: How to do a minimal reproducible example reprex for beginners
