I am trying to install R and RStudio on my PC. I keep on receiving the error saying that it cannot connect to the R session. I have checked the path, I have tried reinstalling it, tried multiple versions of R, all to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas? I installed it on my laptop a few months ago with no problems, but I have been trying for hours to get it on my desktop and can't even receive a different error message. Please help!!

Can you also confirm what OS you're using?
