Unable to install or restore packages

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to learn and put into practice the knowledge of an R Course. I haven't been able to install or update some packages for some reason. I, however, couldn't find any other posts that had the exact same code error coming up.
The message that appears systematically is:
In readLines(file, skipNul = TRUE) :
cannot open compressed file 'C:/Users/2073402/Documents/R/win-library/4.1/metafor/DESCRIPTION', probable reason 'No such file or directory'

Can someone help me fix it, please?

Can you provide an specific example of a package you can't install along with the complete console output you get?
