In the preview version of RStudio 1.2.1303, I am unable to select text in the Console by double clicking on it. I am able to do this in the released version. Is this a bug, or an intentional change?
Both, kind of; the fix for this issue has some tradeoffs so we turned it off by default. You can restore the old behavior if you prefer by going to Options -> General -> Advanced and ticking "Double-click to select words in the Console pane."
