Description of issue - Unable to start RStudio
Attempted steps taken to fix - Uninstalled and reinstall
I've had the same issue. I've tried everything I can think of, and anything I've found recommended online to fix this issue to no avail. The only thing I've been able to do is uninstall and reinstall the now quite old previous version 1.1.463. That version works fine, even with the latest R, except for the graphics engine (so I have to save my plots and view them outside of RStudio). This is a work around for me for the time being, but very frustrating as I have come to rely on some of the newer functionality in more recent versions.
