Unicode characters in data frames are not shown as-is in Environment pane

A similar issue for character vectors (Unicode Characters do not Show Up correctly in Environment Viewer · Issue #6877 · rstudio/rstudio · GitHub) was fixed in avoid re-encoding character inputs for environment pane display by kevinushey · Pull Request #7370 · rstudio/rstudio · GitHub, but this still occurs for data frames.

Try reopening source document with UTF encoding

The document was saved as UTF-8, but there was no difference. This is on Windows 10.

Someone else appears to have also encountered Unicode displaying differently on Windows/Mac systems: Rstudio Windows Ancient Greek Unicode diacritics in tibble display .

My screenshot above is on Ubuntu 20.04. Here is Catalina 10.15.7. Can't test on Win
