We have both an Oracle and a Netezza database where I work. I can successfully connect to both, but when connecting to the Netezza database, the text in the Connections pane is in some non-Latin character set. After much googling I found that setting UnicodeTranslationOption in the odbc.ini file to something besides "utf8" might help, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone ever run into this problem and successfully fixed it?
