Using Amazon Alexa to query shiny / markdown...?

Hi, I'm interested in working out how to build an Alexa app which can query a shiny or markdown app directly in R, and return a result which can be read back by Alexa.
e.g. "Alexa - open my skill - select option X in input Y" returns a verbal output.

I'm not much of a programmer so don't want to have to convert everything to Python for AWS Lambda.

Any advice please? :slight_smile:

About Amazon Alexa and R, there is the package alexar that may be helpful if you don't know it:
