When I open a new Rmarkdown document, the visual editor displays a "Loading collections..." banner and then hangs for an extended period. Rstudio 1.4.1717, R 4.1.1, OSX 11.5.2.
If this still happens with last daily version of RStudio, I would suggest opening an issue in the RStudio IDE github repo:
