Training:
- R Fundamentals: beginner to intermediate. Maximum five day course, can be customized. View the curriculum here. Focus is on data skills, visualization skills, and analytical skills - teaching a solid foundation for robust R code, reproducible analyses, and effective use of Rstudio.
- R Advanced: focus on improving development and maintenance of larger, complex R projects, including project management, version control, advanced functions, unit testing, advanced rmarkdown, using and deploying web services. View the curriculum here.
- Trainings are in person only, on-site or at an organized event, and are not offered online.
- Willing to travel within the Netherlands, and possibly overseas.
- Preferred group size 5-15.

Remko Duursma has a background in science, where he has been using R since 2001. He is the founder of DataPelikaan, where he is a professional trainer and consultant, focusing on the effective use of R in data science projects, and scientific data analysis.
Previously a scientist in the field of forestry, plant ecology, and climate change - Remko has developed several R packages in wide use by the community in his field, and has designed and implemented numerous complex R data analysis projects. Especially well-versed in regression modelling and non-linear models, Remko has a wide interest and experience in statistical analysis.
