Caching chunks in RStudio does not work

I noticed:

• Pushing Knit for vignette generates cache dir and files, but pushing knit again does not re-use cache.

• Pushing Build > More > Configure Build Tools > Configure > ticking "Vignettes". does generate and re-use cache.
