Today I got an error in deploying with rsconnect to the bookdown server:
You cannot change the type of application once deployed. Try deploying this as a new application instead of updating an existing one.
I thought I would solve this by creating a new bookdown application with the same content, which was the solution given to a similar question answered here. However, when I do that, the bookdown deploys normally but the final product doesn't exist. I get a "404 page not found" message in the link where the book should be published Posit Connect
No error is given in the console so I'm not sure what I'm dealing with. I've also tried changing the application a few times but they were all 404 at the end. Thoughts?
