When I help users, I regularly find myself having to explain why reprexes are important. I find this difficult to do repeatedly and from first principles, especially for people who are new to programming, so I wrote a section in the targets user manual to explain: The {targets} R package user manual - 3 Help. I feel it generalizes beyond targets, so I would like to share it in case it helps other package maintainers.
