Aligning parts of a text

Hi! I am currently writing my thesis in Rmarkdown (with xelatex), and i would like to modify the formatting on one of my cover pages.

I would like to modify a list that currently looks like something like this:

Credits: 60 credits
Level: XX
Course title: Master thesis in XX

So that it looks like this:

Credits:        60 credits
Level:          XX
Course title:   Master thesis XX

I've tried using \hspace, but I cant manage to achieve so that "60 credits", "XX" and so on end up at the exact same place horizontally.

I would try to use a 3 x 2 table with the text left aligned in all of the cells.
