The meetingsR repo and website contains a nicely formatted list of upcoming conferences and useR groups from around the world. Since the pages are hosted on GitHub, they are easy to edit and have attracted contributions from around 60 people.
When a PR request is accepted:
- Travis re-builds the website
- a tweet is sent via a bot summarising the change
- a CSV list is automatically updated
We're in the process of getting the associated dashboard to automatically update as well.
