When I click on a R file link to open in RStudio IDE, I get a weird black screen which does not close until I restart my device

Can you try and open RStudio separately? Without calling any specific .R file. Or will RStudio not open at all?
Also does this happen with any .R file? Or one in particular? If it's just one in particular perhaps there is something in the code worth sharing here that may be causing the issue.
