Okay.
install.packages("ggplot2")
should do it though it is probably better to do an
install.packages("tidyverse")
is likely better as it installs a number of useful packages.
In the meantime I'll have a look at what @ nirgrahamuk did.
Meanwhile this is as far as I have gotten.
