When my r session crashes Rstudio generates a file called "core". Sometimes this file is several GB. Is there a way to disable this file from being written to disk?
You didn't state what operating system you're running with, but this is something that's generally handled by the operating system, not RStudio -- try searching for 'disable core dump' and see where that takes you.
