Error Whenever I Try to Update a Package

All of a sudden I cannot seem to install an update to a package without getting the following error:

C:\PROGRA~1\R\R-36~1.0/bin/x64/Rterm.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Also, I have not been able to invoke the KNIT command for an Rmd file since I updated to the latest and greatest versions of everything. I am able to attach rmarkdown and then RENDER the file to an HTML but the menu command in RStudio just does nothing but opens up the Rmarkdown tab.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
