I realized that running the same script on one of my computers would be significantly longer than the other one.
As I was searching information about Rstudio being slow, I ended-up on a previous post where the discussion ended-up on the request log. [RStudio running abnormally slow for every action, including cleaning console and saving file. ].
In my case, the request that is taking a long time is get_events, the purple one, not the active one.
First, what is the get_events doing, and is there a way to reduce the time of those get_events?
Note: The "slow" computer will use the same data but on a work cloud, as the other one gets it directly from the C:.
