Help with transferring R data files from broken PC to Mac

Hi, my PC broke and I recently got a Mac, and I had a lot of code on my PC saved as R markdowns/notebook files that I need to access asap. I was able to transfer the R project files from my old hard drive onto my new computer, as well as many .rmd files. However, there are lots of .rmd files missing, and it's possible that they were never saved but would open on RStudio when I opened the R project. I found some ways to recover files here r - How to get unsaved script tabs - Stack Overflow
but I was wondering if there is a simple way to just transfer everything that I had in RStudio between laptops. Thank you, apologies if this is the completely wrong place and way to ask this question
