I have a large notebook with over 30 images and my collaborator wants higher resolution images they can paste into a presentation. I find that setting the dpi in the chunk options affects not just the resolution, but the image size. In other words, adjusting the dpi messes up the appearance of my knit document. I had carefully chosen the image dimensions with fig.width and fig.height, so it's going to be labor intensive to go back and tailor them for the new dpi I choose.
Is there a way to have the dpi affect the resolution only? Possibly by using a different image render format? Many thanks!
