in /var/log/shiny-server.log ，shows :permission denied

I was able to reach the Shiny server using the IP address and port 3838..., however, this takes you to an index page with two embedded apps, which are not working, indicating there is a problem with the configuration.When I tried to look at the logs in /var/log/shiny-server. it shows "permission denied on my Putty, have no idea what's going on

That is a system folder, you need to access it as super user (sudo)
