Limit BiocInstaller updates to Bioconductor packages

I am totally confused about how to update Bioconductor packages. I have installed the updated version of the BiocManager package for R 3.6.0. But when I run BiocInstall() (or BiocLite(), which is supposed to update the Bioconductor packages), it wants to have me update almost all of the packages that I have already updated from the CRAN repository. How can I limit the update to the various Bioconductor packages? Do I have to list them explicitly?
