Nested list in xaringan with .pull-left?

I'm new to xaringan (usually use beamer!) and am stuck on how to make a nested list work.

What I'm trying to do is:

## Slide heading

.pull-left[
![](figure.png)

]

- Point one
- Point two
    - Subpoint one
    - Subpoint two
-  Point three

In this case, the nested list has no indentation, but does have a different bullet point indicating that it should be nested. I'm mostly just trying to have a two column slide: left side with a figure, right side with bulleted text.

Any help is appreciated :smile:
