I am trying to generate a ppt using the simple example from Bookdown (https://bookdown.org/yihui/rmarkdown/powerpoint-presentation.html) and using an edited template (potx) from Powerpoint. The problem is that footnotes, date and page number do no show up in the final ppt. But they are in the master slide. Does anyone know what I should do?
This is a really good question ! It is possible that these features are not yet supporting by Pandoc conversion from md to powerpoint

I don't remember any mention about footnote or page number but I can't remember all the thing.
