Possible bug, RStudio is unresponsive when waking up from sleep in windows 10

I have noticed this in the past few releases of rstudio and I am using RStudio 2022.02.2+485 "Prairie Trillium" Release (8acbd38b0d4ca3c86c570cf4112a8180c48cc6fb, 2022-04-19) for Windows
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) QtWebEngine/5.12.8 Chrome/69.0.3497.128 Safari/537.36

this issue starts when I put my computer to sleep and start using it again after a few hours. The entire program becomes unresponsive even though it does not say not responding. Any advice to fix this please?

windows 10 is up to date

thanks

Sorry you're having this issue! This is being tracked in Windows Error on resuming from sleep · Issue #9823 · rstudio/rstudio · GitHub. We have yet to reproduce this at RStudio. I wonder if you have the same issue if you try the electron build of desktop, which you can download here: Windows 10+. Please note, the electron-based builds are not yet feature-complete (though they're pretty close); I would not recommend using these dailies yet for production work, just testing.

Hi @MikeBess thanks for your rsponse, the only way to reproduce this issue in my experience is by not using the computer for a few hours and leaving RStudio open (either minimized or maximized same issue). Refreshing UI does not fix it.
