While you wait for the development team to respond, you could try changing to software rendering. You can change it by holding the Ctrl key while opening RStudio, then you should see this menu and change the "Rendering Engine" to "Software".

They usually participate on this category but If you want to get attention quicker, search for this issue on the github repo and if it doesn't exist create one (just make sure to follow the guidelines).
