R using OpenBLAS

I saw this blog:

which shows how to use R with OpenBLAS in Ubuntu.

I was wondering if anyone has did this on a RHEL, Fedora, or CentOS computer.

PS: I have always wondered why R does not ship with OpenBLAS, because to my knowledge Julia uses OpenBLAS, which means the licence should not be an issue.
