I was wondering if the R2D3 package is not maintained anymore by Rstudio. If I look at the github page the last CRAN release was on Dec 2018 and the last update was from Aug 2019. D3.js is now at version 6 packing some amazing new features but R2D3 only works with version 5.
Why is this package not actively maintained? D3.js is still considered the industry standard graphing library. Plotly was build on it. Even some of the Siny contest winners have used R2D3!
