Recoding variables

Hi,

(I am a beginner)

I am trying to make a regression line of self reported turnout on education levels. I have imported the data set and I see the variables I want to use. However, when I make the regression line using the lm fuction, the response I get is definitely wrong, as the result is at the "0" significance level, i.e. absolute certainty.

I'm pretty sure I need to recode the variables? Honestly I have no clue what I'm doing and I have to hand in the coursework today

Can you provide the code that you're working with and a subset of the data that is causing your problem as a reproducible example?
