I had been using RStudio for several months when I ran into a strange issue. When I open RStudio, I get a blank white frozen screen, and when I open R, it is also frozen. I'm using Mac OS Big Sur. I have tried resetting the desktop state using mv ~/.local/share/rstudio ~/.local/share/backup-rstudio, uninstalling and reinstalling R and RStudio, and installing older versions of R and RStudio. When I hold "Ctrl" while opening RStudio, I do not get a popup window so I can change the rendering. What else can I try? Thanks in advance for your help!
