So when I'm working on Rmd files (some of them manipulate data frames with 50.000 lines and 1300 columns, but that does not seem to be an issue on other machines).
Some times when reading files, sometimes when saving, Rstudio will freeze the machine completely, including mouse and virtual terminal accessing.
I really don't know what sort of info I can provide to help you guys. So please ask away
