Rstudio-server Console is showing R version as 4.0.4 instead of Installed R version 4.0.3 from source pkg.

Hi

I installed R 4.0.3 version from source package on RHEL8 machine. After 3 months, Now I installed Rstudio Server on the same machine.

When I launch Rstudio via browser , I see the R-version as 4.0.4 in the browser IDE console Windows instead of 4.0.3.

What changes I need to make to see the version as 4.0.3. Please guide me.

You may have both versions installed and the earlier version is in an earlier position in $PATH. This can happen if one is installed by sudo and the other not.
