RStudio Workbench: Can we pop out the terminal via keyboard shortcut like we see when running a git commit?

When running a git commit in RStudio Workbench through the Git pane, we get a pop up window terminal as shown here:

I would love to be able to type a keyboard command to bring up the Terminal as a separate window like we get with the commit window. I know we have Alt + Shift + M to move focus to the terminal, but a separate pop-out window would be ideal if possible.
