Has anyone successfully been able to proxy Shiny Server using a custom domain and config listening to port 3838 or even port 80? Desire is to access domain.com and not domain.com:port. Server is CentOS7, and I'm assuming the httpd-vhosts.conf file will have to be modified.
I've tried Googling a number of posts related to "custom Shiny domains", "use domain name with shiny server", and a few others, and most of the results either have no answer or a convoluted solution. Could just be though 
Nevertheless, any help on establishing the correct virtual host code is helpful and greatly appreciated.
