Unable to install R Markdown

Hello, I am very new to R Studio. I am running MacOS Yosemite. I was able to install R studio and R Markdown on my iMac. However, I keep getting an error when attempting to install rMarkdown on my MacBook Pro.

Please see the following error message. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to resolve this by downloading an updated version of R.
