Unable to start RStudio IDE on a remote Virtual Machine running Ubantu 16.04

While trying to start rstudio in RDP session, I am getting the following error.

qt.qpa.xcb: failed to initialize XRndr
qt.qpa.xcb: XKeyboard extension not present on the X Server
qt.glx: qglx_findConfig: Failed to finding matching FBConfig for QSurfaceFormat

.....
No suitable graphics backend found

Aborted (core dumped)

Any idea how to fix this issue?
