Use of - in dplyr::select

Hi, as of dplyr >=1.0.0, the help page for dplyr::select no longer mentions the use of the negative sign ('-') for dropping variables. The functionality is still there but I am wondering if anyone knows whether this is will be phased out in future releases?

I don't think it's remotely likely it will be removed.
It's widely relied upon.

There are no plans of which I'm aware that we phase that out. I'm guessing it was an oversight when re-vamping the documentation to reflect the newer features. Feel free to file an issue on GitHub re. reflecting that in the documentation.

I think that the root source of that would be in tidyselect
