Where else RStudio searches for rstudio-prefs.json?

In RStudio 1.4, the preferences can be set in the rstudio-prefs.json file.

  1. What is the stack of directories, in which RStudio 1.4 (desktop) searches for this file? Could you list them in the order of priority? I saw the list some time ago but I lost the link. So the link to official documentation would also be appreciated.
  2. Can I have a separate rstudio-prefs.json file with separate preferences for each RStudio project?
